  • Well that’s more a general Japanese restaurant than a pure ramen place but that offers ramen too.

The broth was the standard thin broth that has not much soul and little flavour. But it was nicely hot and with a bit of additional chilli it kind of gave some spirit. The noodles are thin and yellow, not really curled, and not well cooked. Unbalanced between being soft and chewy. The chashu was thick and fatty and tender, with a sweetish glaze, that was kind fun to munch in. Bamboo has a good crunch and here not too much of its own taste, which worked better here given the amount of other stuff in this bowl. Too many other condiments like the cabbage: it in itself was good and crunchy but ill placed in this way of ramen or in ramen generally speaking. The egg was rather salty: the softness was a little too much.

Nothing sensational but for now I was just happy to have something like this on this evening.
