A new addition to the cologne ramen scene serving genkotsu style ramen, only opened a few months ago and the only franchise in Europe?
I chose the miso ramen.
The broth is indeed thick and rich and powerful, piping hot, and fatty. The chashu was thin but fatty and aromatic. The bamboo a bit thicker and not so marinated. The noodles chewy and with texture. The simple boiled egg was the only thing that was a little boring, but maybe a properly marinated egg may be too much.
In my mind, this is one of the best miso ramen I got within German or even Europe overall. A miso ramen that it is not just broth with some miso paste but a proper miso ramen. It reminded of the miso ramen i got in Sapporo more than any other miso ramen I had here. I am looking forward to try more.
