A dark oily broth that is salty and has a strong punch, but also has a lot of smaller nuances. The noodles quite firm and well made, but they soaked up the flavour of the broth a little too quickly. Chashu Smokey and fatty and overall generous thickness and portion. The ajitama is soft and also with a good saltiness. Nice to see the onions in there but they lack a bit of acid, but go well in combination with the broth of course. The Menma is not so my kind, I just don’t like the soapy variant, but a stronger taste wouldn’t be good with the broth.
Def a well crafted bowl, promising, and satisfied the expectations mostly.
