Niboshi ramen （1150円）

A remarkable bowl of ramen. The broth packed with flavour that is at the verge of being too much, but in the end you just want to taste it again, and again. This broth has substance and power, it isn’t there to give hints, it just smacks your with that fishy taste. The noodles so firm as if they are made to resist the umami attack of the broth. The egg soft and deeply coloured, equally salty and with a punch. A thick slice of chashu that is tender and fatty, and just lovely to munch on. I wasn’t sure about it before, but its fame is totally justified. Could I eat a second bowl now, no, probably not. But I see myself longing for it in a few days again, in a few weeks, and months. It is strangely addictive already! What a bowl! Price of 1150 includes the egg.
