A thick heavy broth, loaded with lots of chilli oil which is giving more a red colour than a kick. Noodles are short and thin, and rather uninspiring. The chashu thin, a lil smoky. The bamboo a little sweet, but it seems largely left unflavoured. The corn a bit crunchy. Most ingredients seems rather gentle in their own flavour, maybe because the miso broth is sort of stronger? The egg with a good softness and saltiness.
In general, a fix that can work but doesn’t leave a big impression.
